Local Murray Bridge man runs to end Domestic Violence

From the 23rd of May, to 3am on the 26th of May, Kai ran the 325km Lavender Federation Trail to raise money for the Murray Bridge Community Centre, and the work they do with survivors of domestic violence.

Before his run, Kai aimed to raise $25,000 for his local community centere. Now, just a week after completing his run, Kai has raised over DOUBLE his goal, with $50,784 raised to date!

Domestic Violence is an issue Kai has been aware of since a young age, and he has always felt the need to do something big to help his community around it.

After completing his run, Kai spoke to Murray Bridge News, stating that “Just because the run’s done doesn’t mean this conversation stops."

On June 15 he will appear alongside other speakers at a Murraylands Women’s Health Summit, with all proceeds from the $50-a-ticket event going to his campaign.
